Return Policy
At The Up and Down Journey, we believe that every order is more than a transaction — it’s a piece of your story joining ours. That’s why we take great care in how we create, package, and ship your posters, mugs, and collections. But we also know that sometimes things don’t unfold the way we hoped.
This policy exists as a promise: that if your journey with us doesn’t begin as smoothly as it should, we’ll work to make it right.
When Something Isn’t Quite Right
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or not as expected, please reach out to us right away. Life has its bumps, but you shouldn’t have to carry that weight alone — and certainly not with a broken mug or bent poster.
Returns
To qualify for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the packaging they arrived in. We kindly ask that you contact us within 14 days of delivery so we can begin the process together.
Refunds
Once we receive your returned item and inspect it, we’ll let you know if your refund is approved. If it is, the refund will be sent back to your original method of payment. Please allow a little time for banks or payment processors to complete their part of the journey.
Exchanges
Sometimes, what you really need is not a refund but the right replacement. If that’s the case, let us know. We’re happy to exchange an item so you get exactly what feels right
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items may not be returnable, such as gift cards or digital downloads (if ever offered). We’ll always be clear about which items fall into this category so there are no surprises.
